SEO Lead

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level SEO Lead to join a fast‑growing Melbourne digital agency. The role is client‑facing and offers full ownership of SEO strategy across a diverse B2B and B2C portfolio, linking performance to revenue and conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tailored on‑page, off‑page, technical and content‑led SEO strategies for clients in tourism, e‑commerce, health training, radiology and more.
• Present SEO findings and recommendations directly to clients, translating data into business‑focused language.
• Drive improvements through structured data, schema markup and click‑through optimisation.
• Monitor performance, report on ROI and conversion metrics, and adjust tactics accordingly.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of hands‑on SEO experience, comfortable with both strategy and client communication.
• Proven ability to work across multiple CMS platforms and understand HTML/CSS.
• Enjoys building relationships with clients and delivering outcomes over mere rankings.
