SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This part‑time contract position is a remote, hourly role where you will act as an SEO and Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert. You will review AI‑generated SEO outputs, create high‑quality marketing content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and correct issues related to search intent, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance.
• Fact‑check information, write clear explanations, and produce gold‑standard outputs that demonstrate best practices.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously improve model outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, and analytics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot weak logic, overclaims, or risky marketing statements.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working across time zones in a remote contractor workflow.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or performance‑marketing review is a plus.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics tools: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
