SEO Copywriter

About the role

Are Media is looking for an SEO Copywriter to lead optimisation of its deals content. This 12‑month fixed‑term role will use keyword research, search intent and performance insights to create and optimise content that drives organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive SEO performance through keyword research, search‑intent mapping, competitor analysis, metadata, internal linking and structured content optimisation.
• Improve existing pages by analysing rankings, click‑through rates, conversions and revenue attribution, then implementing changes that deliver measurable growth.
• Create search‑led content targeting valuable commercial terms, incorporating original research, experience‑led insights and expert quotes.
• Optimise the click‑to‑merchant journey by aligning content structure, calls to action and retailer links with user needs and conversion opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven track record of increasing organic rankings, traffic and conversions through hands‑on SEO and content optimisation.
• In‑depth knowledge of keyword research, search intent, on‑page SEO, internal linking, EEAT principles and evolving search best practices.
• Confidence using SEO analytics tools to uncover opportunities, diagnose performance and turn insights into practical content improvements.
• Experience within shopping, e‑commerce or deals content and a growth mindset to adapt to a rapidly changing search environment.
