Senior Web Designer
Jobgether
Job description
About the role
A fast-growing technology company is looking for a creative, data-driven Senior Web Designer to shape high-performing digital experiences. The role combines visual design, interaction design and experimentation to turn website visitors into customers, working closely with growth marketers, developers and performance specialists. It is fully remote, based in Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver continuous website experiments: landing pages, page variations, UI components, forms and calls to action, each built around clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes.
- Identify optimization opportunities, develop testing ideas and work with growth marketing, performance marketing, SEO and development teams to prioritize initiatives.
- Create digital experiences such as interactive product demos, scroll-driven storytelling, calculators, free tools and launch pages.
- Translate complex technical products into compelling visual narratives using real product interfaces, UI demonstrations and motion design.
- Contribute to the design system by building on existing components and turning successful experimental patterns into reusable elements.
- Design campaign landing pages aligned with paid advertising and conversion goals.
- Use AI-powered prototyping in Figma or code to validate concepts quickly, then prepare implementation-ready designs and work with developers on accuracy, responsiveness, accessibility and performance.
- Analyze experiment results and document insights to inform future design and conversion strategies.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of experience designing websites and marketing pages, with a portfolio showing strong visual craftsmanship, measurable results and at least one high-quality interactive experience.
- Proven experience working with growth or performance marketing teams, able to explain past experiments and their outcomes.
- Excellent creative judgment, balancing brand quality and originality against data-driven optimization.
- Proactive, autonomous and collaborative, with strong stakeholder communication and the ability to manage multiple experiments at once.
Required skills
- Advanced Figma and experience with established design systems (components, variants, auto layout, variables).
- Strong UI and interaction design, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, motion and responsive experiences on mobile and desktop.
- Experience with motion, interaction or 3D tools such as Rive, Jitter, After Effects or Spline is an advantage; familiarity with Framer or Webflow is a plus.
What we offer
- Monthly lifestyle subsidy covering financial, physical and mental well-being.
- Remote work from Australia with no mandatory office attendance.
- Home office allowance for the first three months.
- Annual learning and development budget of USD 1,500.
- Paid annual leave plus two extra company days, 18 weeks of paid parental leave, and access to sick and carer's leave.
- High-specification laptops and equipment, paid subscriptions to generative AI tools, and opportunities to influence the design system.
