Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer – Relocate to Northern Queensland

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to join its Water Infrastructure team in regional Queensland. The role involves delivering major water and wastewater projects for clients across North Queensland and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs and treatment facilities.
• Lead projects from business development through design to construction, managing commercial and budget aspects.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure quality, timely, and cost‑effective outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Engineering degree) and RPEQ or CPEng registration.
• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
• Interest in long‑term growth within a global organisation.
