Senior Tender and Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Senior Tender & Contract Specialist will coordinate tender submissions and manage contract negotiations across public and private healthcare sectors in ANZ, acting as the face of Medtronic with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prepare, coordinate and submit tender responses, providing commercial guidance for bid/no‑bid decisions.
• Manage contract preparation, review, extensions and variations, liaising with legal and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain central databases, contract logs and internal trackers, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Support sales and marketing with contract activity reports, expiration notifications and proactive communication.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Law or a related contract discipline.
• 3‑5+ years experience as a Tender or Contracts Specialist in a medical or highly regulated industry.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills with commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with Vendavo application (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.
