Senior Technical Officer – Highways

About the role

Join AECOM as a Senior Technical Officer on a variety of transport and highways projects across Queensland and nationally. You will support design, documentation and coordination while developing your technical expertise in a global consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with quality assurance to ensure work meets standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal civil design team, engineers and project managers on design and documentation.
• Develop high‑quality designs using 12d modelling and AutoCAD.
• Manage resourcing needs for multidisciplinary transport design teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a designer or drafter on civil engineering projects using AutoCAD.
• Strong commitment to technical delivery standards, project timeframes and quality management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake further training and upskill.
