Senior Tech Project Manager – OSS/BSS (Sydney)

About the role

This senior position leads the delivery of OSS/BSS projects for telecommunications customers in Australia. You will act as the primary local contact, ensuring seamless coordination between customers, internal teams, and overseas engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, attending operational, technical and executive meetings.
• Coordinate project governance, monitor milestones, identify risks and drive mitigation plans to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for REXI and MEXI platforms, translating feedback into product specifications and prioritising new functionalities with Product Management.
• Serve as the technical liaison, understanding customer architectures, supporting workshops, facilitating issue escalation and coordinating testing, validation and deployment with Spain‑based teams.
• Maintain continuous communication with international teams, producing clear meeting minutes, action plans and progress reports.
• Collaborate with customers to define new service offerings, create implementation plans and support service adoption.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, develop new business within existing accounts and generate leads through direct engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale telecom projects, preferably in OSS/BSS environments.
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
