Senior Tax Accountant – Corporate, Property & Funds

About the role

This newly created senior tax accountant position sits within a finance team of 40+ and offers a fast‑track development platform. The role provides broad exposure to compliance, advisory and project work across Australian and international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax returns, BAS, FBT returns and quarterly/annual tax reporting.
• Support M&A transactions, tax due diligence, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring activities.
• Provide proactive tax advice and business partnering to Finance, HR, Legal and Company Secretarial teams.
• Identify tax risks, recommend practical solutions and support ATO reviews, audits and external advisors.
• Drive process improvements through automation initiatives and systems support.

Required profile

• 1st or 2nd move from corporate tax within a top‑30 CA practice, or relevant corporate tax experience in property or funds sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in Australian and international tax, including GST, FBT, payroll tax, Pillar Two, transfer pricing and hybrid arrangements.
