Senior Tactical Data Link FSR (Field Services Representative)

About the role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Senior Tactical Data Link Field Services Representative (FSR) for its Canberra-based Joint Interface Control System (JIC) project. The JIC consolidates multiple Tactical Data Links into a strategic Situational Awareness and Command and Control System. The role provides operational support through training, mentoring and support to operations, within a fast-moving company supporting Australia's Defence mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to help system users expand their knowledge of JIC system capabilities and functions
• Resolve Tactical Data Link technical issues
• Provide on-site support including training and mentoring
• Give field support to test and training activities
• Perform helpdesk duties
• Develop and update mixed media training materials, and deliver training and ongoing mentoring of the operator workforce
• Support training planning and coordination, and attend user and industry conferences
• Develop and present operational briefings on capability
• Identify and recommend modifications and upgrades to hardware, software and processes
• Attend ongoing and advanced training to enhance knowledge of Tactical Data Links
• Support the development of the Tactical Data Link Operational Plan (multi TDL)
• Travel in support of Australian domestic tasks

Required profile

• At least 6 years' experience in Tactical Data Link operations
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly and describe technical system functionality
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance as needed
• Ability to travel for domestic tasks

Required skills

• Tactical Data Link operations
• COMSEC / High Assurance Crypto Equipment (HACE) experience
• Operation of tactical and strategic RF communication equipment
