Senior Sustainability Consultant

About the role

Join WSP’s Perth sustainability team as a senior consultant leading sustainability strategy for major city‑shaping infrastructure projects. You will work with a diverse group of engineers, architects and specialists to deliver low‑carbon, resilient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on best‑practice sustainability outcomes using IS Ratings and Green Star rating tools.
• Lead technical assessments including climate change resilience, energy, carbon and water modelling.
• Coordinate cross‑discipline teams to integrate sustainability into design and implementation.
• Manage project deliverables, budgets and controls for medium to large‑scale projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related sustainability discipline.
• 6+ years’ experience as a sustainability consultant, preferably in infrastructure.
• Proven project leadership, financial and people management experience.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for low‑carbon built environments.

Required skills

• Experience with Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) IS Ratings and Green Star certification.
• Energy, water and carbon modelling and climate resilience analysis.
• Life‑cycle analysis and sustainability assessment methodologies.
