Senior Surveyor

About the role

Acciona is delivering critical transmission infrastructure to support Victoria’s renewable energy future. We are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead survey delivery on a large‑scale infrastructure project, working closely with engineering, construction and quality teams to ensure precise set‑out and as‑built verification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead survey delivery across civil, structural and infrastructure works, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved designs.
• Establish, maintain and validate survey control networks and reference points for multiple work fronts.
• Perform detailed as‑built surveys using GNSS, total stations and drones, confirming compliance with design specifications.
• Monitor dimensional tolerances, provide verification data and support quality assurance to minimise rework.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction and quality teams to resolve set‑out discrepancies and construction challenges.
• Maintain survey records, plans and digital data within project systems (GIS, EDMS, CDE) and support progress reporting.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in set‑out, survey control and as‑built validation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances.
