Senior Supply Planner

About the role

Anduril Industries is looking for a Senior Supply Planner to join its Sydney team supporting the development of autonomous underwater vehicles. You will own the end‑to‑end supply plan for assigned assemblies, ensuring material availability aligns with the master build schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to build cost models, benchmark pricing and assess build feasibility.
• Own and maintain the line of balance (LOB) for programs, translating build requirements into actionable supply plans.
• Drive clear‑to‑build (CTB) reviews, confirming long‑lead items and supplier deliverables are on track.
• Collaborate with procurement to mitigate supply risks, escalating with data‑backed recommendations.
• Track schedule adherence metrics (OTD, CTB pass rate, LOB health) and conduct root‑cause analysis on misses.
• Maintain MRP/ERP data accuracy, including planned orders, lead times and safety stock.
• Support cost engineering to converge bottoms‑up cost curves and total cost of ownership.
• Develop initial supply plans for new product introductions from early‑stage BOMs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of supply or production planning in complex hardware manufacturing, preferably defence or aerospace.
• Proven experience managing line of balance and clear‑to‑build processes across multi‑level BOMs.
• Background in high‑mix, low‑volume, high‑tech product development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field; CPIM, CSCP or CPSM preferred.
• Eligibility for Australian Government Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance.

Required skills

• Oracle or similar ERP system proficiency.
• MRP/ERP data management (planned orders, lead times, safety stock).
• Line of Balance (LOB) and Clear‑to‑Build (CTB) process expertise.
• Cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis.
• BOM and engineering change order handling for NPI builds.
