About the role
Join AECOM’s Ports & Marine team in Adelaide to support a growing pipeline of coastal, port and maritime projects across ANZ. You will deliver robust design, assessment and documentation while mentoring early‑career engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver portions of engineering assignments, perform calculations, and develop design elements for maritime and structural works such as wharves, jetties, dolphins, seawalls and berths.
- Gather and correlate engineering data, ensure traceability and quality, and provide day‑to‑day support to entry‑level engineers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews, develop construction cost estimates, and prepare technical specifications aligned to Australian standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in structural and/or maritime engineering, with ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Chartered (CPEng) status or progression towards it is advantageous.
Required skills
- Structural analysis and design of marine structures and foundations.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design tools.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and guidelines.
