Senior Speech Pathologist - Adult Case Load

About the role

Hanrahan Health, part of the MedHealth group, offers multidisciplinary therapy services across the lifespan, from toddlers to aged care, in clinics, a private hospital, residential aged care, schools, homes and via telehealth. It is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to work with an adult caseload in Goulburn. The position can be full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week).

Key responsibilities

• Assess communication and swallowing / feeding skills across a wide range of adult clinical areas.
• Provide therapy, education and support for clients and their support networks.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Key Workers, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Allied Health Assistants.
• Support a small paediatric caseload if desired.

Required profile

• Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist.
• Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
• Genuine passion for speech pathology and a desire to make a real difference.
