Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

This Senior Solutions Architect role leads end-to-end solution design and drives autonomous network and cloud capabilities. It covers knowledge and service modelling, stakeholder leadership and solution governance, working with Product Owners, Engineering Leads and Enterprise Architects.

Key responsibilities

• Define solution components, patterns and technology strategies aligned with enterprise architecture, security and technology roadmaps, and guide delivery teams through architecture decisions.
• Design architectures supporting automation, orchestration and closed-loop operations, and turn business intent and policies into machine-consumable solutions.
• Support AI-driven decision-making using contextual and operational knowledge.
• Define service models, semantic relationships and capability mappings, and support knowledge graphs, service awareness and dependency mapping.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads and Enterprise Architects to shape future-state architecture and influence senior stakeholders on priorities and investment.
• Maintain architectural integrity, promote reuse, standardisation and reference architectures, and support modernisation and digital transformation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Technical Design leadership roles.
• Proven experience designing large-scale, high-reliability real-time solutions in cloud, network or telecommunications environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and executive audiences.

• Knowledge plane expertise: turning data and unstructured information into reusable, machine-consumable knowledge.
• Semantic modelling, ontology, taxonomy and knowledge representation.
• Knowledge graphs, semantic and reasoning technologies.
• Systems integration, APIs, service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
