Senior Software Developer

About the role

HammerTech is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to build and enhance its safety intelligence platform. You will work on both backend services and frontend interfaces, contributing to AI‑powered features that improve construction workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and maintain APIs, micro‑services and user‑facing functionality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and cross‑functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality features.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, improving performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, agile ceremonies and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals, problem‑solving skills and experience with SaaS platforms.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, React, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with ORMs, MVC frameworks, microservices, RESTful APIs.
• Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Modern CI/CD and deployment practices.
