About the role
The Senior Social Media Advisor will lead strategic social media content and campaigns for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, connecting communities with climate action, biodiversity, and conservation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms to promote environmental and heritage programs.
- Oversee content planning, creation, community management, paid campaigns and performance reporting.
- Provide strategic advice to stakeholders and translate complex information into engaging digital content.
Required profile
- Extensive experience managing social media channels for a large, complex organisation.
- Strong content production skills, including video editing, graphic design and photo editing.
- Proven track record of managing paid social media campaigns, optimisation and reporting.
- Leadership experience within small teams in high‑volume environments.
