Senior Site Manager

About the role

This position offers the chance to join a well‑established Gold Coast builder renowned for premium residential and mixed‑use projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will lead site teams to meet key milestones while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and subcontractor performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Drive construction programmes, sequencing and project timelines.
• Maintain exceptional safety and quality standards on‑site.
• Lead site meetings, communicate with stakeholders and report progress to senior management.
• Oversee defect management, inspections and handover processes.
• Mentor junior site staff and foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering multi‑storey residential, mixed‑use or commercial projects as a Senior Site Manager.
• Strong background in structural and finishes work.
• Ability to manage large subcontractor workforces and complex programmes.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS requirements.
• Stable employment history with reputable builders.
