Senior Site Manager - Heritage & Education Projects

About the role

A Melbourne commercial builder is hiring several Site Managers, including for a $40M heritage cultural project and an education build running for 12 months. You will report to the Construction Manager and run the site day to day. The work focuses on heritage refurbishment and adaptive reuse rather than volume work, with education, sport and leisure projects in the $30M-$60M range.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site operations, program and subcontractors
• Deliver heritage and new-build works to quality, time and budget
• Lead safety and quality to ISO-certified systems
• Coordinate architects, heritage consultants and the client team
• Manage Site Engineers, Foremen and Supervisors

Required profile

• Site Manager on commercial projects of $30M or more
• Refurbishment, heritage or adaptive reuse experience
• Experience on education, sport and leisure or cultural projects preferred
• Current Construction Induction Card and First Aid

Required skills

• Aconex and Hammertech preferred
