Senior SAP Integration Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Integration Infrastructure Engineer to join a large‑scale SAP programme delivering critical HR and payroll integrations for a Federal Government client. The role is hybrid and focuses on designing, building and supporting secure, high‑performance integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA and third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and Boomi, creating iFlows, APIs and middleware components.
• Implement integration patterns such as real‑time, batch and event‑based processing.
• Work with SuccessFactors Compound Employee API, OData APIs and web services to deliver API‑based, SFTP and file‑based integrations.
• Support data extraction, transformation and replication across systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, performance tuning and cut‑over activities.
• Ensure integrations meet enterprise security standards, including authentication, authorisation, certificate management and secure data handling.
• Provide ongoing AMS support, monitoring, incident management and enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering integrations with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and/or Boomi.
• Strong background integrating SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Payroll, Time, Recruiting, Onboarding) and SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, XML, JSON and XSLT.
• Experience with integration patterns, error handling, logging and monitoring.
• Knowledge of security concepts such as IAS/IPS, SSO, OAuth and certificate management.
