Senior SAP Integration Engineer (BTP Integration Suite)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP Integration Engineer to lead large‑scale integration projects in a SAFe/Agile environment. Based in Brisbane with hybrid flexibility, you will design, build and operate end‑to‑end integrations across SAP and non‑SAP landscapes using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Key responsibilities

• Operate within SAFe/Agile release trains, lead integration features and define DoR/DoD.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and support integrations using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management and Event Mesh.
• Architect scalable, resilient integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, batch).
• Lead workshops, produce functional and technical specifications, interface contracts and sequence diagrams.
• Configure adapters and protocols such as HTTP, IDoc, JMS, SFTP, OData, SOAP, REST and AMQP.
• Implement secure file transfers (SFTP, FTPS, AS2) and ensure compliance with Australian data residency and privacy regulations.
• Define CI/CD pipelines with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions and SAP CTS+/Transport Management.
• Integrate authentication services (SAP IAS/IPS, XSUAA) and manage API lifecycle in SAP API Management.
• Provide L3 operational support, monitoring, incident resolution and participate in upgrades and performance tuning.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering SAP integrations at scale in SAFe/Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Australian data residency, Privacy Act and relevant sector regulations (e.g., APRA, ATO).
• Proven ability to lead design workshops and produce clear technical documentation.
