Senior SAP BTP Integration Developer

About the role

George Weston Foods is looking for a Senior SAP BTP Integration Developer to play a key role in its SAP transformation journey. The role delivers enterprise integrations from SAP Process Orchestration (PO) to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite, working closely with the BTP Platform Lead, architects, business stakeholders and offshore developers. It is a hands-on senior position responsible for technical quality, development standards and delivery across a large-scale integration program.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy production-grade integration flows (iFlows) using SAP BTP Integration Suite connecting SAP ECC, S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.
• Rebuild and implement SAP PO interfaces to SAP BTP Integration Suite, supporting the transition of about 300 enterprise interfaces.
• Deliver interfaces end-to-end, including technical design, development, unit testing, transport management and cutover support.
• Develop reusable integration patterns and help decommission legacy SAP PO and SFTP middleware.
• Monitor, maintain and improve interface quality, reliability, resilience and security; configure monitoring and alerting and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and quality assurance for offshore and mid-tier developers.
• Work with solution architects, project consultants and business stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 6 years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management and Event Mesh).
• Demonstrated experience migrating SAP PI/PO environments and interfaces to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers and maintaining development standards and QA practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• APIs, adapters and protocols: IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP and AS2.
• Groovy scripting, XSLT/XPath, message mapping and integration best practices.
• BTP security: OAuth 2.0, SAML, mTLS and certificate management.
