Senior Salesforce Developer (LWC/Apex)

About the role

A Salesforce Developer position based in Sydney, focused on building and customising Salesforce solutions with a minimum of 7 years of experience in LWC/Apex, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The role covers configuration, custom development, integration and delivery within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and customise Salesforce solutions to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and client requirements.
• Ensure Salesforce best practices are followed in configuration and customisation.
• Provide detailed level-of-effort estimates for proposed solutions and articulate the benefits and risks.
• Develop, test and document custom development, integrations and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce product and technical capabilities from releases and acquisitions.
• Work with the project manager, Scrum Master, clients and other developers to design project strategy and collaborate across development, testing and deployment.
• Interact with clients, managers and end users to analyse project objectives and requirements, including UI specifications and customised applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce LWC/Apex, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience in Agile ways of working, managing and delivering work with Agile methodology, attending all cadence ceremonies and being familiar with weekly and ER releases.
• Proven knowledge of business processes and their KPIs, including best practices.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Desirable: familiarity with COPADA and strong debugging skills on LWC, Apex and Aura to support production incidents.

Required skills

• Salesforce technical skills: Lightning experience, LWC, Apex, triggers, Visual Force, Lightning Aura components.
• Strong experience in Salesforce configuration and customisation and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• DevOps experience with Bitbucket, Git and CI/CD; good understanding of Salesforce DX.
• Desirable: Salesforce certifications such as AppBuilder, Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II.
