Senior Reporting Strategy Specialist

About the role

A Toyota Aftersales division role in Altona North, offered as a maximum 2-year term position. The Aftersales Division drives the strategic planning, coordination and delivery of national parts and accessories operations across the dealer network, covering sales performance, business development, procurement, supplier relationships, dealer support and warehouse operations. The Senior Reporting Strategy Specialist develops and implements the Aftersales reporting strategy, including the Modern Data Platform framework and roadmap, and works with stakeholders to define KPIs, set reporting governance and deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve Aftersales reporting strategies, frameworks and systems
• Lead the coordination of reporting automation initiatives in the Modern Data Platform, including requirements gathering, prioritisation, delivery planning, milestone tracking, risk management, testing and implementation readiness
• Analyse business performance data and reporting outputs to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers, and recommend actions to management
• Act as a reporting subject matter expert, partnering with stakeholders, managers and report owners
• Monitor performance against targets and objectives and recommend improvements
• Stay current with reporting technologies and analytics practices while complying with policies, regulations and governance requirements

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven ability to design, implement or enhance reporting frameworks, KPI frameworks, management reporting solutions or business intelligence dashboards
• Sound understanding of supply chain, inventory, logistics, automotive, retail or other operational environments

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, interpreting operational and performance data
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports, dashboards and presentations
