Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Labour Connect, a Sydney-based recruitment business with more than 50 years of industry experience, is looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its growing team. The role takes ownership of a recruitment desk and client portfolio, developing both existing and new business. It suits experienced consultants, including those coming from the wider NSW market, with particular interest in civil construction, warehousing and logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, traffic management and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established client portfolio and develop new business
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities within existing accounts
• Sourcing, interviewing and representing quality candidates
• Manage the recruitment process from initial brief through to placement
• Leverage the company's candidate database and recruitment platforms
• Provide market knowledge and recruitment advice to clients
• Develop a specialist industry vertical and work with the wider team
• Take accountability for commercial and recruitment outcomes

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Consultant or Business Development professional
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Strong business development and networking capability
• Experience in civil construction, warehousing and logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, traffic management or engineering
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
