Senior Quality Assurance Advisor

About the role

Pacific Energy is expanding its Quality team and is looking for two Senior Quality Assurance Advisors to lead high‑risk quality work across either Project Delivery or Asset Operations. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will develop assurance frameworks, coordinate advisors and influence outcomes across technical and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality plans, assurance frameworks, acceptance criteria and evidence requirements.
• Lead complex quality activities such as ITP/ITR creation, MDR reviews, FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover and asset‑operation controls.
• Coordinate workloads of Quality Assurance Advisors based on risk and capability, providing technical direction and review.
• Conduct NCR investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action effectiveness reviews.
• Support audits, ensure completeness and traceability of quality evidence, and represent quality with project, engineering, supply‑chain and client teams.

Required profile

• Senior or lead experience in quality assurance or a related technical‑assurance role.
• Proven ability to lead complex work, set clear expectations and influence without formal authority.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, problem‑solving and technical‑reporting skills.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to attend Pacific Energy facilities or project sites.

Required skills

• Practical experience with ITPs, ITRs, MDRs, FAT/SAT, NCR/CAPA processes.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality‑management principles.
• Experience leading audits, commissioning, handover and operational assurance activities.
• Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action effectiveness reviews.
