Senior QA Engineer - SCM Systems

About the role

A full-time, remote Senior QA Engineer position focused on Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. The role goes beyond running tests: you will understand business workflows, ensure new platform changes match existing logic, build lasting automation and own quality end to end. You will work closely with product managers, developers and other teams so that complex SCM workflows work smoothly, scale well and are ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate SCM business requirements and workflows
• Create and run functional, regression and integration test cases
• Test workflow logic, status changes and error scenarios
• Own and maintain automation with Katalon Studio, including regression suites, and turn important manual tests into automated ones
• Keep automation stable and reliable to support CI/CD
• Check that workflows and data match between old systems and new platform parts, and verify data accuracy during migrations or engine changes
• Support UAT, release testing and production readiness
• Track and manage bugs in Jira with developers, and prepare test plans, results and quality reports
• Spot quality risks early and help improve QA processes

Required profile

• 5+ years of QA experience, especially with SCM or workflow-based enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and own quality decisions

Required skills

• Jira for defect tracking and test work
• Test automation tools (Katalon Studio preferred)
• Nice to have: SAP or other ERP systems, API testing, basic SQL, Agile/Scrum and CI/CD pipeline exposure
