Senior Publicist / PR Account Manager

About the role

Honey Buzz PR, a founder-led boutique PR and social media agency, is growing its team and is looking for a Senior Publicist / PR Account Manager. The role covers a diverse set of clients in food, fashion, lifestyle, services, tech and thought leadership, working closely with the Director in a small, close-knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead media relations and pitching across accounts, writing sharp pitches and using your own contacts to secure top-tier coverage and position clients' leaders as credible voices in their industry.
• Own accounts end-to-end, from budgets to timelines, running integrated campaigns across earned media, social, influencer and content, and for some clients managing organic social in full.
• Track client satisfaction and coverage against KPIs, turning earned media and social performance into insights for future campaigns.
• Spot growth opportunities within accounts and help lead new business responses from strategy through to pitch.

Required profile

• 5-7 years in journalism, a newsroom or a PR agency (ideally a mix of both).
• Experience across consumer, lifestyle and B2B brands, and comfort positioning thought leaders and personal brands as well as product stories.
• Strong writing and pitching skills, and the ability to hold a room of senior stakeholders.
• Calm under pressure and aware of cultural and media trends.
