Senior Prosthetist

About the role

Formotion Clinic Australia is looking for a Senior Prosthetist to deliver advanced prosthetic services, provide clinical leadership and support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex prosthetic cases, including multi‑limb loss and high‑activity patients.
• Cast, evaluate, modify and fit prostheses to achieve client goals.
• Review clients regularly to assess fit, function, quality and safety.
• Lead multidisciplinary amputee clinics and mentor less‑experienced prosthetists.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and adoption of emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics or equivalent.
• Current AOPA membership or eligibility and willingness to obtain membership.
• Extensive proven experience as a prosthetist.
• Strong client focus and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Prosthetic casting and fitting.
• Clinical decision‑making and advanced prosthetic reasoning.
• Multidisciplinary team collaboration.
