Senior Project Planner (Energy & Infrastructure)

About the role

GE Vernova Power Conversion and Storage designs and delivers motor, drive and control technologies that support the energy transition. It is seeking an experienced Planner to drive the schedule integrity of its large-scale energy infrastructure programs. The role is the primary technical lead, bridging complex scheduling data and strategic project delivery, with influence across engineering, commercial and construction teams and a path toward future leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the master schedule: lead baseline development, version control and critical path analysis for multi-site programs.
• Drive performance using P6: schedule health checks, EV reporting and variance analysis to keep projects on track.
• Act as the primary scheduling voice in client meetings and lead workshops to align engineering, procurement and site teams.
• Provide schedule-based evidence for delay analysis and EOT claims, and contribute to strategic planning for high-value tenders.
• Mentor team members by setting scheduling standards as the portfolio grows.

Required profile

• 8+ years of planning and scheduling experience in EPC, energy or infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Planning or a related field.
• Deep understanding of schedule quality frameworks, critical path method (CPM) and risk management.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract and program-based delay analysis.
• Able to turn complex schedule data into clear, actionable narratives for leadership and clients.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
• Strong capability in MS Excel and data visualization
