Senior Project Officer - Slade Health

About the role

Slade Health, a provider of sterile compounding services from TGA-licensed manufacturing facilities across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a Senior Project Officer for its Geebung site. Reporting to the Project Manager, the officer assists in managing, coordinating and handling procurement administration for projects of varying size, from minor to major.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate communication and manage expectations through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and clear expectations.
• Ensure appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools are used.
• Assist in reviewing invoices and progress claims, including account reconciliation.
• Manage tasks, progress and timing so outcomes are delivered on time, monitoring resources and expenditure against agreed budgets.
• Contribute to leading multi-disciplinary teams and developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing project activities.
• Help prepare oral and written reports on plans, issues and solutions for management and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Suitable tertiary qualification in Construction or Project Management.
• Experience in healthcare is highly regarded; exposure to medium to large construction projects in healthcare is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise workload, plan ahead, communicate effectively, take ownership of work and adapt to group frameworks and standards.

Required skills

• Project programming software such as MS Project.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.
• Office 365 and Sensei experience.
