Senior Project Manager – Utility Infrastructure & Data Centre Grid Connections

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex utility infrastructure and grid‑connection programmes for our key clients in the data‑centre and energy‑transition sectors. This senior, client‑facing position offers real ownership from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi‑party programmes end‑to‑end – scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting.
• Act as primary client contact and programme driver for major clients.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and negotiations with DNSPs, TNSPs and government bodies.
• Drive programmes through connection phases safely, on time and within budget.
• Review HV connection documentation, design submissions and regulatory correspondence.
• Mentor Project Managers and help build team capability.
• Contribute to proposals, fee estimates and new client engagements.

Required profile

• 7+ years' project management experience in utility infrastructure, electrical engineering or grid connections.
• Sound knowledge of HV networks, DNSP/TNSP connection processes and the Australian energy regulatory framework.
• Proven track record owning complex, multi‑party programmes end‑to‑end.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Confident communicator – effective in boardrooms, technical reviews and on site.
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
