Senior Project Manager - Protected Mobility Vehicles

About the role

Thales' PRV team, part of its VTS business, designs, manufactures, delivers and supports protected mobility vehicles globally, including the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms. It is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in the Eagle Farm, Brisbane office to lead and manage allocated bids and/or projects in the Land / Protected Vehicles portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage assembled bid and project teams to meet business objectives.
• Ensure project objectives for cost, time, safety and quality are exceeded.
• Strategically develop high-quality, competitive bid offers.
• Adhere to and improve the Thales Bids & Project Management governance framework.

Required profile

• Degree in business, engineering, project management or another suitable discipline.
• Proven senior-level experience in bid and project management with multi-partner or major co-contractor clients.
• Experience with complex Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Ability to lead in an international, multicultural environment with diverse and sometimes unstable stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, able to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance.
