Manufacturing Engineer Leader

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer Leader will own end‑to‑end performance of production processes and field reliability, ensuring products are manufacturable, efficient and robust. Reporting to Global Operations Direction with a dotted line to the Senior Engineering Director, you will act as a strategic partner across engineering, operations and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product designs into safe, repeatable manufacturing processes, including SOPs, tooling, equipment and automation balance.
• Lead shop‑floor problem solving using structured root‑cause analysis and implement effective CAPA.
• Monitor holistic field performance (RMAs, telemetry, site feedback) to detect emerging issues early.
• Conduct deep root‑cause analysis across design, manufacturing, installation, environment and software.
• Drive cross‑functional improvements with engineering, quality, manufacturing and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Systems Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of cross‑functional leadership experience in reliability and manufacturing.
• Experience shaping reliability strategy, governance and standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching abilities at leadership level.

Required skills

• AS3800 qualification.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and control plan development.
• Reliability data analysis and failure trend identification.
