Senior Project Manager – Mechanical & Electrical Alliance Lead

About the role

This senior site‑based role leads the Alliance team delivering critical mechanical and electrical packages on a landmark multi‑billion‑dollar infrastructure project in Perth’s northern suburbs. You will be the central authority coordinating engineering, construction, commissioning and stakeholder activities to ensure safety, performance and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the site Alliance team through planning, coordination, execution and close‑out of major mechanical and electrical works.
• Drive safety standards, programme adherence, cost control and quality delivery across three appointed contractors.
• Manage interfaces between engineering, construction, commissioning, client representatives and operational stakeholders.
• Resolve issues early, maintain focus on schedule, budget and performance targets.
• Provide decisive leadership in a fast‑moving, high‑profile delivery environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale mechanical and electrical scopes on infrastructure, resources, energy or utilities projects.
• Strong site delivery background with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Demonstrated capability in safety, programme, commercial performance, quality and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in an Alliance, joint‑venture or similar collaborative delivery model is highly regarded.
• Confident communicator with sound judgement and credibility to influence senior project stakeholders.
