Senior Project Manager – Marine & Remedial Projects (WA)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale marine and remedial infrastructure projects across Western Australia. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from strategy and planning through to execution, close‑out and client hand‑over, with budgets ranging from $5 million to $20 million.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex marine and coastal remedial works.
• Develop and implement project strategies, programmes and critical‑path schedules.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks to ensure safety and successful outcomes.
• Promote a zero‑harm safety culture on all site activities.
• Manage client relationships, anticipate needs and pursue growth opportunities.
• Control commercial performance through cost management and labour efficiency.
• Oversee contracts, claims and commercial risk, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
• Mentor and empower project teams and subcontractors.
• Direct procurement, negotiate labour, material and service agreements.
• Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and performance insights.
• Lead project close‑out, finalising deliverables and financials.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Construction; postgraduate qualification in Project Management is highly regarded.
• Minimum 8 years of experience delivering medium to large construction projects ($5 M–$20 M).
• Proven experience in marine, civil or remedial projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, contract and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
