Senior Project Manager – Large-Scale Residential Developments

About the role

This senior position will lead the delivery of landmark apartment projects ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 units for a well‑capitalised developer‑builder in Sydney. The role is focused on driving outcomes, managing stakeholders, securing approvals, and shaping delivery strategy across large‑scale residential developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from planning through to completion for high‑rise residential schemes.
• Manage relationships with consultants, authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Drive programme schedules, risk registers, and overall project outcomes.
• Coordinate internal delivery, commercial, and site teams to ensure alignment.
• Oversee design approvals, authority interfaces, and regulatory compliance.
• Report directly to senior leadership on progress, risks, and performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction or project delivery experience.
• Proven track record delivering high‑rise residential developments.
• Experience with developer‑builders or major apartment contractors.
• Strong understanding of complex residential project delivery.
• Comfortable operating across large consultant and stakeholder groups.
