Senior Project Manager

About the role

Davies Stewart is partnering with a leading civil contracting client in Adelaide to recruit a Senior Project Manager. This permanent, full‑time position will lead major infrastructure projects across metropolitan Adelaide, with a company vehicle provided for site travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Manage complex works including land subdivisions, road construction, bulk earthworks, stormwater, water and power infrastructure.
• Oversee financial performance, project budgeting, forecasting, contract administration and subcontractor management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities and internal site teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance, environmental and OHS standards throughout all project phases.
• Mentor project engineering and site management personnel to develop team capability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager in the civil engineering sector.
• Proven track record delivering subdivision, bulk earthworks, road and utility infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Strong financial acumen, contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented approach with a commitment to safety and quality.
