Senior Project Manager – Interoperability & Digital Health

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a major interoperability transformation for a South Australian public sector organisation. The role will focus on connecting enterprise systems with national digital health services, ensuring seamless data exchange across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive interoperability strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Engage and manage executive stakeholders, presenting progress to governance boards.
• Create detailed project plans, monitor critical paths, and manage dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver infrastructure and integration components.
• Report status, issues, and outcomes to senior leadership on a regular basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large‑scale, complex projects.
• Proven experience in executive stakeholder engagement and governance.
• Strong ability to develop strategy, plan projects, and produce clear documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to manage critical paths, risks and project dependencies.
• Experience in infrastructure and interoperability projects is highly regarded.
