Senior Project Manager - GEOINT Program

About the role

Leidos Australia is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for its GEO SPACES program within Mission Software Systems (MSS). The team builds software and cloud solutions for intelligence, defence and national security customers, and this role leads the planning and delivery of GEOINT capability activities, coordinating schedules, stakeholders and priorities to achieve defined capability outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Coordinate customer, operational, technical and program stakeholders to align activities and support delivery decisions.
• Establish project and benefits management approaches linking delivery to GEOINT capability outcomes.
• Produce plans, frameworks, governance artefacts and reporting that give leaders and customers visibility of progress, risks, issues, decisions and changes.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and an active TSPV clearance, with the ability to be successful for a DISA; the role may be subject to ITAR requirements.
• Experience delivering complex projects in Defence or technology environments.
• Knowledge of ADF and GEOINT environments, supported by delivery experience in GEOINT or geospatial programs.
• Advantageous: relevant project management qualifications or professional credentials, and further GEOINT/geospatial program experience.
