Senior Project Manager – Fit-Out ( $5m‑$20m+ projects )

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑spec commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects valued between $5 million and $20 million. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while exceeding client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Track progress, monitor milestones, and enforce quality standards.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Document and resolve quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• 10‑15+ years delivering fit‑out or refurbishment projects for 2nd/3rd tier contractors.
• Strong knowledge of local council and regulatory standards.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
