Senior Project Manager – Cyber Defence & AI Security

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, enterprise‑wide cyber defence programme that leverages AI to improve vulnerability identification, assessment and mitigation. You will own end‑to‑end delivery across design, build, integration and rollout in a fast‑moving security environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a large, multi‑stream cyber security programme.
• Drive AI‑led initiatives for vulnerability identification and risk reduction.
• Coordinate across identity, infrastructure and application domains.
• Establish governance, reporting cadence and delivery frameworks.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with cyber standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage senior stakeholders and provide clear delivery insights.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Manage third‑party vendors and hold them accountable.
• Support transition of solutions into production and embed continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering enterprise‑scale cyber security or risk programmes.
• Solid understanding of modern security practices, vulnerability management and AI‑driven capabilities.
• Proven ability to deliver in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Experience managing complex cross‑functional, multi‑platform initiatives.
• Exposure to security domains such as identity, cloud, network and endpoint.
• Demonstrated success leading organisation‑wide change and adoption.
• Confident stakeholder engagement at senior level.
• Strong financial and governance management capability.
• Experience in large, complex enterprises.
• Comfortable with Agile and traditional delivery methods.
