Senior Project Manager (Contract)

About the role

Seven Consulting is looking for a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis to lead one of its flagship technology transformations worth approximately A$10 million. You will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards while fostering a transparent and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑value project, ensuring schedule, cost, scope and benefits are met.
• Develop and maintain a clear roadmap with measurable KPIs, keeping all stakeholders aligned.
• Provide real‑time status reporting through dashboards and proactive communications.
• Coach junior project managers and continuously improve the project management playbook.
• Adapt delivery approach—waterfall, agile or hybrid—to suit project needs.
• Manage risks and issues, maintaining composure under pressure to keep schedules intact.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering A$10 million+ projects for Tier‑1 clients.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, from C‑suite executives to vendors.
• Strong leadership that inspires confidence and repeat collaboration.
• Fluency in waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methods (certifications a plus).
• References that attest to integrity, direct communication and relentless follow‑through.
