Senior Project Manager - Commercial Fitout

About the role

A national D&C fitout and refurbishment contractor, known for high-end spec suite and workplace projects up to $12M, is recruiting a Senior Project Manager in Melbourne. The role leads the delivery of several projects at once, with yearly reviews and genuine promotion and salary progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple projects valued between $1M and $5M simultaneously
• Keep projects on programme, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality
• Create, define and drive project scope from start to finish
• Manage projects tightly on site and in the office, keeping them organised and accountable
• Mentor and develop Contract Administrators, giving guidance, feedback and support
• Delegate responsibilities and communicate clearly across the project team
• Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders, resolving issues and disputes

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Delivery Project Manager in the Commercial Fitout sector
• Solid track record with reputable fitout builders
• Demonstrated experience running multiple concurrent projects worth $1M to $5M
• Strong D&C experience and knowledge
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, and a team-based approach
