Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

About the role

Infinity Constructions, a family-owned Tier 2 builder with 34 years of experience across Sydney and Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for its Melbourne team. Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the delivery of major commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Projects are valued up to $190 million.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion, handover and defects.
• Take ownership of programme, budget, quality, safety and overall project performance.
• Manage project procurement, programming, contract administration and commercial outcomes.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Monitor budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Drive quality, safety and compliance across all stages of delivery, ensuring projects meet contractual requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Lead and develop high-performing project teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years' experience managing construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering $100m+ Design & Construct commercial projects.
• Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, from pre-construction through to handover.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Commercial, contract administration and technical construction knowledge.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, procurement, risk and project teams.
• Proficiency in platforms such as Commnia, Aconex or Procore.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
