Senior Project Engineer – 9‑Month Contract in Perth

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join a Perth‑based team on a 9‑month contract. The role will lead the delivery of multi‑discipline engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities for industrial or plant projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and change control, providing regular reporting.
• Oversee vendor and contractor performance, ensuring contractual and quality requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership, resolve issues and drive collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Supervise engineering teams, consultants and suppliers, promoting HSE, quality and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia.
• 5–8 years of project engineering experience with a strong focus on execution‑phase delivery.
• Proven experience coordinating EPC activities for industrial, oil & gas or chemical plant projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, suppliers and evolving project scopes.
• Hands‑on experience in site‑based roles supporting construction and commissioning.
