Senior Planner – Mining Rehabilitation (Perth)

About the role

Our client, a leading EPCM organisation, is seeking a Senior Planner to support a major mining rehabilitation and closure project in Perth. The role involves owning the integrated schedule and ensuring timely delivery of the remaining scope.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6.
• Lead planning and scheduling activities across rehabilitation, clearing, remediation and site‑closure works.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to track progress and forecast delivery.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints and critical‑path impacts.
• Prepare regular schedule updates and reports for stakeholders.
• Support project controls and contribute to overall project delivery outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Project Planner within the mining sector.
• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 and ability to manage complex schedules independently.
• Experience working in an EPCM environment and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Previous exposure to mine closure, rehabilitation, decommissioning or remediation projects is advantageous.
