Senior Planner

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead planning and scheduling activities across complex, large‑scale EPCM and EPC projects. The role involves driving best‑practice project controls, schedule governance, forecasting, risk management and reporting to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Planning & Scheduling function, including execution planning, schedule maintenance, change management, progress measurement, trending, forecasting and reporting.
• Assign, mentor and develop the planning team to ensure functional skills and a collaborative approach.
• Establish and maintain planning baselines, perform critical path analysis, earned value measurement and schedule risk analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Update project schedules, integrate stakeholder inputs and publish accurate schedule reports for all project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to monitor progress, identify risks and support project decisions.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑player qualities.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or construction.
• 15+ years of experience in execution project environments, including detailed execution planning and schedule risk analysis.
• 5+ years on‑site construction experience in EPCM or EPC settings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office suite proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with project controls software (e.g., schedule development, critical path networks, bar charts).
• Experience in schedule quantitative risk analysis, earned value performance measurement and progress evaluation.
