Senior People Manager – Loyalty & Customer

About the role

Qantas is seeking a Senior People Manager to support its Loyalty & Customer portfolio. Reporting to senior executives, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor, shaping workforce strategy, organisational capability and culture across a fast‑moving, commercially focused business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute people strategies and workforce plans aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with senior leaders to build organisational capability and drive performance.
• Lead organisational design, transformation and change initiatives.
• Influence executive stakeholders on talent, succession planning and leadership capability.
• Use data, insights and analytics to identify opportunities and create practical people solutions.
• Drive high‑performance culture, employee engagement and inclusion outcomes.
• Collaborate with the wider People Group to deliver scalable, commercially focused solutions.

Required profile

• Significant experience partnering with senior leadership in a large, complex organisation.
• Proven success developing and implementing strategic people plans.
• Strong organisational design, workforce planning and change leadership experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to leverage people insights and analytics.
• Experience coaching senior leaders and driving leadership effectiveness.
• Growth mindset, curiosity and passion for modern people practices.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
